Morning:

Departure from Kigali: Your day begins with an early departure from Kigali, the vibrant capital of Rwanda, heading towards the picturesque countryside where coffee plantations thrive.
Scenic Drive: Enjoy a scenic drive through the rolling hills and lush landscapes of Rwanda, soaking in the beauty of the countryside along the way.

Coffee Plantation Visit:

Arrival at the Plantation: Upon arrival at the coffee plantation, you'll be warmly welcomed by local staff who will guide you through the day's activities.
Introduction to Coffee Cultivation: Start your experience with an informative introduction to coffee cultivation in Rwanda. Learn about the unique climate, soil conditions, and farming practices that contribute to the exceptional quality of Rwandan coffee.

Coffee Processing Tour:

Harvesting Coffee Cherries: Embark on a guided tour of the coffee plantation, where you'll witness the process of harvesting ripe coffee cherries by hand. Learn about the importance of selective picking and the role it plays in producing high-quality coffee.
Processing and Sorting: Follow the journey of the coffee cherries as they are sorted, pulped, and fermented to extract the precious beans. Gain insight into the traditional and modern methods used in coffee processing, from washing to drying.

Midday:

Lunch with a View: Take a break from your coffee adventure and enjoy a delicious lunch served amidst the stunning surroundings of the plantation. Indulge in local Rwandan cuisine featuring fresh ingredients sourced from the region.

Coffee Tasting Experience:

Expert-Led Tasting Session: After lunch, engage your senses in a guided coffee tasting session led by knowledgeable staff. Explore a variety of Rwandan coffee blends, from light and fruity to bold and rich, as you discover the nuances of flavor and aroma.
Brewing Techniques: Learn about different brewing techniques and methods to enhance your coffee experience, from pour-over to French press. Experiment with grind size, water temperature, and brewing time to unlock the full potential of each cup.

Afternoon:

Relaxation and Exploration: Spend the remainder of your afternoon exploring the plantation at your own pace. Take a leisurely stroll through the coffee fields, snap photos of the breathtaking scenery, or simply relax and enjoy the tranquility of the countryside.
Optional Activities: Depending on the plantation, you may have the opportunity to engage in additional activities such as birdwatching, nature walks, or visiting nearby cultural attractions.
